My next guided meditation session will be held on: SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER 10am at Marlowe Innovation Centre. The session will include some simple mindfulness exercises and a guided meditation/relaxation. It's a lovely, friendly group, and all are welcome to stay for tea and chat afterwards.
MEDITATION has been proven to significantly reduce stress and tension, aid concentration/focus, increase self-awareness and improve immune function. Sadly, despite it's many benefits, people can quickly become discouraged or disheartened when first learning to meditate, as their minds are often so busy. Training the mind to be still and calm can be difficult and requires regular practise, just as when learning any skill or discipline.
